1. Enhanced Questionnaire Workflow for seamless Analyst and Vendor Collaboration

We’ve simplified and unified the questionnaire workflow to enable seamless collaboration between analysts and third parties.

Key Capabilities:

  • We have introduced actionable statuses for analysts and vendors, including Open, In-Progress, Completed, Reopened, and Third-Party stages (Third-Party Open, Third-Party In-Progress, Third-Party Submitted, Third-Party Overdue).

  • Question-Level History allows you to track answers, rationale, evidence uploads, timestamps, and contributor type for complete transparency.

  • Vendors can submit partially completed questionnaires, respond to flagged questions, and add rationale or comments.

  • Overdue status indicators, sticky submit prompts, percentage completion dials, tooltips, and confirmation modals improve clarity and usability.

  • Auto-AI Review Control allows you to disable/enable the AI review during vendor submissions to prevent conflicts.

2. Customizable Outgoing Email Templates

We’re introducing Customizable Outgoing Email Templates, giving you the flexibility to personalize communication with vendors. You can now add your own logo, choose light or dark themes, configure default CCs, and tailor email content for key notifications using dynamic placeholders—all with a live preview for easy editing.

3. Third-Party Status Tracking & Reassessment Management

We’ve added rejection reasons, full status history, and configurable review frequencies per tier/vendor. A new dashboard widget tracks reassessment cycles to ensure timely action.

4. Real-Time AI Review for Questionnaire Responses

We’ve introduced real-time AI review for questionnaire responses. Now, each answer is automatically evaluated for quality, rationale validity, and supporting evidence as soon as it’s entered. Reviews run in the background without interrupting user flow, providing instant feedback.

5. Export Third-Party Questionnaires

You can now download vendor questionnaires at any stage (empty, partially filled, or fully completed) in PDF or CSV formats.

6. Enhanced Questionnaire with Multi-Select options

Questionnaires in SAFE now support multi-select questions, enabling respondents to choose multiple answer options for a single question.

7. Rich Text Dashboard Widget

We have added a new Rich Text widget to dashboards, allowing you to format descriptions with bold, italic, underline, lists, and hyperlinks. Additionally, dashboards have been improved with reduced widget preview heights and consistent widget naming.

8. Integration with Jira (Cloud)  

SAFE now seamlessly integrates with Jira ITSM (Cloud), which allows you to create tickets for risk treatment plans. The integration keeps Jira ticket status in sync with SAFE, giving you real-time visibility and better traceability. Refer to Integration Guide for more details.

9. Integration with AWS Security Hub

SAFE integration with AWS Security Hub allows you to onboard AWS accounts and import assets and security misconfigurations into SAFE for a unified risk view. Refer to the Integration Guide for more information.

1. Third-Party Risk Assessment Summary Report

SAFE now lets you generate a standardized PDF Risk Assessment Summary Report for any third party. The report provides a comprehensive view, including a Third-Party Overview, Risk Summary (Tier, SAFE Score, Likelihood), Assessment Summary (Questionnaire and Outside-In Review), and Evidence and Contract details.

2. Enhanced Upload Experience

  • SAFE now offers a consistent upload experience with both ‘Browse & Select’ and drag-and-drop functionality available wherever uploads are supported.

  • On the Evidences page, users can select and upload multiple files at once, making file management faster and easier.

3. Integration with Jira Cloud ITSM (Early Access)

SAFE now seamlessly integrates with Jira ITSM (Cloud), which allows you to create tickets for risk treatment plans. The integration keeps Jira ticket status in sync with SAFE, giving you real-time visibility and better traceability.

4. Improved Findings Export

Finding list exports now match your search results and selected filters for easier and accurate data export.

5. Support for GOV URL in Microsoft 365 Defender Integration

You can now configure the Microsoft 365 Defender integration in SAFE using government (GOV) URLs, ensuring seamless risk monitoring in government environments.
