This document provides the step-by-step procedure to add, bulk upload, update, and delete your third-parties in SAFE.

Introduction


SAFE allows you to add your third-parties individually one by one, as well as upload your third-parties in bulk. SAFE admins can manage their third-parties from the third-party page in SAFE.

Add individual third-parties


Important
  • SAFE allows you to create Custom Fields. If you want to add Custom Fields for your third-parties, Refer to the Create Custom Fields. Custom Fields are the additional metadata required for prompt identification, reporting, and analytics for the onboarded third-parties.
  • All the Custom Fields created for third-party will be available as fields on the Add Third-party page and CSV upload template.

To add a third-party:

  1. Navigate to Third-party.
  2. Click the Add Third-party button.
  3. On the Third-party details page, enter the company details such as Domain Name, Company Name, Location, Industry, etc.
  4. Click the Add button.
  5. The system notifies you of a successful addition.

Bulk upload third-parties


Important
  • SAFE allows you to create Custom Fields. If you want to add Custom Fields for your third-parties, Refer to the Create Custom Fields. Custom Fields are the additional metadata required for prompt identification, reporting, and analytics for the onboarded third-parties.
  • All the Custom Fields created for third-party will be available as fields on the Add Third-party page and CSV Upload template.

To upload Third-parties in bulk:

  1. Navigate to Third-party.
  2. Click the Add Third-party button.
  3. Click the Bulk Upload tab.
  4. Click the Download Template button. The system downloads the template file (CSV) on your computer.
  5. Fill in the third-parties details in CSV as follows:
    1. Enter the mandatory fields Company Name, Domain, Industry, and Location.
    2. For any data field that contains a comma, please enclose that data in quotes.  Example: Mining, Quarrying, and Oil and Gas Extraction need to be entered as "Mining, Quarrying, and Oil and Gas Extraction."
    3. Enter the country name only in the Location field. Refer to the Accepted Country Name in the Location field.
    4. The Industry Value field must match one of the entries of the below list:
      • Mining, Quarrying, and Oil and Gas Extraction
      • Utilities
      • Construction
      • Manufacturing
      • Wholesale Trade
      • Retail Trade
      • Transportation and Warehousing
      • Information
      • Finance and Insurance
      • Real Estate and Rental and Leasing
      • Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services
      • Management of Companies and Enterprises
      • Administrative and Support and Waste Management and Remediation Services
      • Educational Services
      • Health Care and Social Assistance
      • Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation
      • Accommodation and Food Services
      • Other Services (except Public Administration)
      • Public Administration
  6. Save the details in the CSV file.
  7. Browse and upload the template file to SAFE.
  8. Click the Upload button. The system notifies you of a successful upload.

The system displays the onboarded Third-parties in the list available on the Third-party page, along with the individual and overall Third-party score.

Note
If users add a custom industry in the company profile section of SAFE after selecting Industry as "Other," the industry will be available in the add third-party industry drop-down as well as supported in the bulk upload third-party CSV.

Remove a third-party


To remove a third-party:

  1. Navigate to Third-party.
  2. Search the Third-party from the list you want to remove.
  3. Click the options menu available in the Manage column against the Third-party.
  4. Click the Remove Third-party option.
  5. Click Yes on the confirmation screen. The system removes the Third-party.
