Introduction
SAFE provides visibility not only into your direct third-party vendors but also their associated vendors—commonly known as fourth-parties. This capability helps you map the extended risk surface across your digital supply chain.
Accessing Fourth-Parties
Navigate to Third-Party from the left-hand navigation panel.
Click on the Fourth-Party tab available at the top of the Third-Parties page.
The system displays a list of all vendors associated with your third-party organizations.
Each entry in the Fourth-Party tab includes:
Fourth-Party Name
Linked Third-Party count (the number of direct vendor through which the fourth-party is associated)
Number of Breach Incident associated with that fourth-party
SAFE Score
Option to Edit or Delete the Fourth-party
How Fourth Parties Are Discovered
Fourth-parties can be identified through multiple mechanisms:
Automated enumeration based on identified TXT records and built-in discovery signatures
Questionnaire responses from your third-party vendors
Manual declaration by the analyst
SAFE automatically maps and links discovered fourth-parties to their respective third-parties.
Add Fourth party
While many fourth-parties are automatically discovered, SAFE also allows you to manually add fourth-party entities as needed.
Click the Add Fourth Party button on the Fourth-Party tab.
Enter the required details in the form:
Name
Domain
Revenue
Headquarters
Industry
Click the Add button to save the entry.
The newly added fourth-party will now appear in the Fourth-Party list.
