Overview

The Action Plan (Issue Management) module in SAFE enables users to track, manage, and resolve issues identified during third-party assessments or through outside-in findings. This feature supports complete issue lifecycle management — from creation to closure — ensuring that contingent approvals and remediation requirements are effectively tracked and resolved.

Purpose

  • To manage and monitor unresolved findings across questionnaires and outside-in findings.

  • To ensure remediation or follow-up actions are completed by vendors or internal stakeholders.

  • To maintain auditability of issue resolution for compliance and reporting purposes.

View Issues

The Action Plan page displays all issues associated with a third party in a clear, tabular list view. The list includes key details such as the issue summary, status, assignee, due date, and other relevant fields.

You can manage each issue directly from the list using the three-dot menu under the Manage column to Assign or Delete an issue.

For better visibility and organization, you can:

  • Group issues by Status or Labels using the Group By option.

  • Customize the table by adding or removing fields through the Column Selector to tailor the view to your workflow.
