# Twingate

This document provides the step-by-step procedure to configure Twingate in SAFE.

## Introduction

---

SAFE integrates with Twingate and fetches the security misconfiguration of the Twingate account in SAFE.

## Prerequisites

---

- Access required in **SAFE**:
  - SAFE Admin Access
- Access required in **Twingate**:
  - Twingate Admin
- Required User Inputs:
  - API Instance URL
  - Tenant Name
  - API Token
- Required Scope:
  - Read Access

## Generate Connection Details

---

- How to generate **API Token**
  - Log in to your Twingate account as **Admin**.
  - Click on the **Settings**
  - Click on the **API**
  - Click on the **Generate Token**

  - Enter the **Label**(Token Name)
  - Select the **Permission Level** to **Read only**
  - Click on the **Generate** button

  - The system displays the **API Token**. **Copy** and **save** the API Token to use it while configuring Twingate in SAFE.
  - It's important to regularly update the API Key in SAFE according to its expiration date.

- How to generate **API Instance URL**
  - Log in to your Twingate account as **Admin**.
  - In the exhibit provided, find the URL highlighted, **Copy** and **save** this *API Instance URL* to use it while configuring Twingate in SAFE.

- How to get **Tenant Name**
  - Log in to your Twingate account as **Admin**.
  - In the exhibit provided, find the Tenant Name highlighted, **Copy** and **save** this *Tenant Name*to use it while configuring Twingate in SAFE.

## Configure Twingate in SAFE

---

- Log in to your SAFE account as **Admin**.
- Click on the **Integrations**option from the left navigation.
- Scroll to find the Twingate integration card or search for Twingate in the search bar.

- Hover over the Twingate integration card and click on the **Configure** button.
- Enter the following:
  - API Instance URL
  - Tenant Name
  - API Token
- Enter the **Auto Sync Frequency**.
- Click on the **Test Connection** button.
- Once the connection is successful, click on the **Save** button.

- Once the configuration is saved successfully, click on the **Sync** **Now** button to trigger an on-demand sync.

- Upon a successful sync, the system pulls the Twingate assets and their findings in SAFE. You can track the status of the sync in the **History** table.

## View Results

---

- Go to the integration homepage
- Scroll to find the Twingate integration card or search for Twingate in the search bar.
- Click on the Twingate integration card for **Finding View** and **Asset View**.
  - **Finding View:** This tab displays all the findings details pulled from Twingate.

## SAFE's Outgoing IP Addresses

---
