Introduction


The Policy section allows you to do the semi-automated assessment of the applicable policies in the organization. At the top of the page, it displays the analytics on the applicable policies and their controls in a pie-chart view. It also displays the applicable policies along with their audit status, SAFE score, and the number of Qualified, Failed, the total number of associated controls.

Manual Policy Assessment


Users can do a manual assessment of the applicable policies related to Policy Assessment in the organization as follows:

  1. Navigate to Home > Policy
  2. Click the policy for which you want to do the manual assessment from the applicable policy list. You will be redirected to the campaign details page.
  3. Select the Control options from the drop-down available for each of the controls of that policy.

Your selection for the control options will be auto-saved and updated in the application.

  1. Navigate to Home > Policy
  2. Click the policy for which you want to do the manual assessment from the applicable policy list. You will be redirected to the campaign details page.
  3. Select the controls by marking the checkboxes available against them.
  4. Now, select the control options available at the bottom of the screen to change the status.

Add Comments and Evidence


SAFE allows you to upload evidence and add comments as proof of action while changing the status of Policy controls. The evidence and comments help users to understand the reason behind changing the control’s status.

To add comments or evidence:

  1. Navigate to Home > Policy Assessment > Policy
  2. Click on the control name for which you want to change the control status.
  3. Select the Control Answer from the drop-down available for each of the controls of that policy.
  4. Click the Comments & Evidence option.
  5. Click the Add Comment button.
  6. On the Comment & Evidence page, Add comments and upload the evidence.
  7. Click the Save button.

View Controls' Details


On clicking the control name, the control details page opens up. The control details page displays the control description, risk description, remediations, and control history.
