People Assessment via SAFE Me


Calculating the People Score by manually assessing the campaign does not provide the real cyber risk involved with people within the organization. We have designed the SAFE Me app that quantifies employees' cyber risk based on their cyber awareness, mobile security, and Dark Web exposures to solve this problem. SAFE aggregates the SAFE Me scores of all the individual employees and calculates the People Score for SAFE.

SAFE Me is a cybersecurity assessment platform by SAFE Security, where employees of your organization can learn the essentials of cybersecurity in the form of nano-video modules followed by a quiz at the end of each of the modules.

The SAFE Me mobile app (Android and iOS) has the following capabilities:

  • Device Assessment: It assesses security controls on the mobile devices of every employee.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: It allows employees of your organization to learn the essentials of cybersecurity in the form of the nano video modules followed by a quiz.
  • Dark Web Exposures: It discovers and displays the Dark Web Exposures of the email id of your employees.
Important
You must configure SAFE ID first from the Administration > SAFE Hooks > Enrichment Tools to start the People assessment. Refer to Setup SAFE ID.

This is basically the people assessment dashboard which displays the People Score Trend over a time graph, analytics on training campaigns, list of top risky users, and top-performing users.

FAQs


1. How frequently does SAFE Me assess the user's device (Phone)? Is this a one-and-done scan?
No, device assessment is a continuous process and the scan happens every time the user opens the SAFE Me app on their phone.

2. Can I start a device (phone) assessment?

Admin can not trigger a device scan. SAFE Me assesses the device every time user opens the SAFE Me app on their phone.

3. Can I have multiple devices? 

You can log in to the SAFE Me app using various mobile devices but only the last device using which you have logged in will be considered for device controls assessment.

4. How frequently does SAFE Me assess users in SAFE Me? Is this a one-and-done scan? Can the user start another scan? Can the admin start a scan?

User assessment or user scoring in SAFE is a continuous process. Every time SAFE detects a new event or signal for a particular user, it recalculates the SAFE score. The signals can be:

  • Deep and Dark web exposures: These get reassessed as soon as the user signs up for the first time and automatically daily once afterward (Users or Admin can not trigger this). The system recalculates the SAFE Score if a user remediates an exposure.
  • Device controls: Admin can not trigger a device scan. SAFE Me assesses the device every time user opens the SAFE Me app on their phone.
  • Phishing test activities: Every time we ingest a phishing test result. Only from the admin view, one can ingest phishing results
  • Email Threat Intelligence: Every time Proofpoint TAP data ingestion happens. Once integrated it is an automated process
  • Awareness courses: Every time a user takes a course.
  • Adding secondary email IDs: Users can add up to 4 email ids to the SAFE Me app or web. Rescoring happens on addition or deletion for the first time and then for subsequent assessment.
