# Atlassian Opsgenie

This document provides the step-by-step procedure to configure Atlassian Opsgenie in SAFE.

## Introduction

---

SAFE integrates with Atlassian Opsgenie, and fetches the security misconfiguration of the Atlassian Opsgenie account in SAFE.

## Prerequisites

---

- Access required in **SAFE**:
  - SAFE Admin Access
- Access required in **Atlassian Opsgenie**:
  - Atlassian Opsgenie Admin
- Required User Inputs:
  - API URL
  - API Key
- Scope:
  - Read Access

## Generate Connection Details

---

- How to generate API Token:
  - Log in to your Atlassian Opsgenie account as **Admin**.
  - Click on the **Settings** option from the header row.
  - Click on the **API Key Management** from the left navigation.

  - Click on the **Add new API Key**button.

  - Enter the Name.
  - Select the following from Access Rights:
    - **Read**
    - **Configuration access**
  - Click on the Add API button.

  - The system displays the API Key. **Copy** and **save** the API Key to use it while configuring Atlassian Opsgenie in SAFE.
  - It's important to regularly update the API Token in SAFE according to its expiration date.
- How to get API URL:
  - Access the Atlassian Opsgenie API documentation by clicking on the provided [link](https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/alert-api).
  - Upon reaching the Atlassian Opsgenie API documentation page, locate the section titled "**Alert API**".
  - In the exhibit provided, find the base URL highlighted as 3. **Copy** and **save** this *API Region Specific Base URL* to use it while configuring Atlassian Opsgenie in SAFE.
    - ***If using the EU instance of Opsgenie, the URL needs to be***https://api.eu.opsgenie.com***for requests to be successful.***

## Configure Atlassian Opsgenie in SAFE

---

- Log in to your SAFE account as Admin.
- Click on the **Integrations**option from the left navigation.
- Scroll to find the Atlassian Opsgenie integration card or search for Atlassian Opsgenie in the search bar.

- Hover over the Atlassian Opsgenie integration card and click on the **Configure** button.
- Enter the following:
  - API URL
  - API Key
- Enter the **Auto****Sync Frequency**.
- Click on the **Test Connection** button.
- Once the connection is successful, click on the **Save** button.

- Once the configuration is saved successfully, click the **Sync** **Now** button to trigger an on-demand sync.

- Upon a successful sync, the system pulls the Atlassian Opsgenie assets and their findings in SAFE. You can track the status of the sync in the **History** table.

## View Results

---
- Go to the integration homepage.
- Scroll to find the Atlassian Opsgenie integration card or search for Atlassian Opsgenie in the search bar.
- Click on the Atlassian Opsgenie integration card for **Finding View** and **Asset View**.

## SAFE's Outgoing IP Addresses

---

Click [here](https://docs.safe.security/safe-4/docs/safes-outgoing-ip-addresses) to find the outgoing IP addresses of SAFE. All traffic to any integrations in SAFE will see one IP address as the source IP of the incoming connection.
  - **Finding View:** This tab displays all the findings details pulled from Atlassian Opsgenie.
