The Balbix integration with FireMon enables ingestion of firewalls and associated control compliance findings from a FireMon CSV export, to ensure a more comprehensive inventory and posture analysis of the network security environment. Balbix leverages AI to aggregate, normalize, and deduplicate ingested data, along with information integrated from your existing IT and cybersecurity tools. This creates a unified view of your entire asset inventory, including vulnerabilities and their business and operational context. Balbix’s AI models then analyze this data to provide insights such as deployment gap analysis, risk-based vulnerability prioritization (with detailed ranking and scoring), and risk quantification. This process delivers a comprehensive assessment of risk, whether for a single asset, groups of assets, or your entire enterprise, enabling more informed and effective security decisions. > **Note**: Contact your Customer Success lead to discuss enabling in your environment ### Integration Summary This table provides a summary of the Balbix integration for the FireMon connector. | **Integration Type** | File-based: A file-based integration that ingests a CSV export from FireMon firewall analysis scans. | | --- | --- | | **Types of Assets Fetched** | Firewall assets | | **Types of Data Fetched** | Asset names, control findings | The below table provides the details for all expected columns and header names in the FireMon CSV file for proper ingestion: | **CSV Field** | **Balbix Attribute Mapping** | **Example** | | --- | --- | --- | | device.name | Asset Name | FIREWALL-CORE-01 | | device.lastrundate | Firewall Device Policy Evaluation Date | 2025-02-28T13:48:01.213Z | | device.failedrules | Firewall Control Details | 20 | | device.allowlistedrules | Firewall Control Details | 0 | | control.name | Firewall Control Name | PANW-IP-000026 Antivirus HTTP Decoder Action Drop or Reset-Both (DISA Palo Alto) | | control.code | Firewall Control Code | SC-00854 | | control.type | Firewall Control Type | REGEX | | control.severity | | 7 | | control.severity_label | Firewall Control Severity | High | | control.allowlisted | Firewall Control Details | FALSE | | device.results | Firewall Device Control Evaluation Result | Pass/Fail | ### **Set Up Your Connector** You can find this option in [Datasources>Connectors](https://rs002tra.balbix.net/app/d3/data-sources/connectors).
