# Dashboard Notes

This widget enables you to add summaries or instructions to dashboards. You auto-generate these notes using GenAI (BIX), instantly populating contextual summaries. You can edit this text as needed.

To view this option, add a **Dashboard Notes** widget to your dashboard, select **Edit Notes** from the **…** menu, then select **Regenerate**.
