# Configure Tag Manager

Follow this procedure to configure tags:

In the **Tag Manager** menu you can create your own tags you can then apply to assets.

Tags can have as an **Associated Entity** either a device, or an application.

You can also assign a tag color.

Tags can also have the following additional attributes:

- Impact level, which can be mission critical, critical, high, medium, low, or none.
- Asset zone, which can be core, perimeter, core-airgapped, core-internal, perimeter-DMZ, or perimeter-internet facing.
- Device type
- Operating system platform
- Business owner
- VM owner
- IT owner

You can also search tags, edit tags, and delete tags.
